I'm finding that being in a bunch of weddings is by far the best tool I have in planning my own special day. I have a pretty good idea of what I want and a really good idea of what I don't want. So, Thank You to all of the brides who asked me to stand beside them on their days. It meant a lot then and it means a lot now. There are several things that I did as a bridesmaid or Maid of Honor that I knew were important at the time, but now I understand how much all of the "small" things really do mean to the Bride-to-be.
I am using the unusual color palette of Black, White, and Green in my wedding. I love those three colors together and there are a million and one ways to "do" them in a wedding. I'm having a lot of fun trying to figure out how I'll use all three. As I lock it in, I'll post some pictures.
